Abstract |
The geometric morphometric methods were used to identify hybrids from Tilapia zillii and T. guineensis in Ebrié lagoon. The data collected are situated on 19 landmarks on seven tilapia group’s body shape. Procrustes superimposition was used to extract shape data. Multivariate methods such as Canonical Variate analysis and Cluster Analysis were used to discriminate tilapia specimens and to show the level of morphologic similarity. Results showed that….. |
