Abstract

This study aims to investigate the management of a Tasawuf-based character education through the analysis on several aspects, which are: 1) perception of the Jamaat or community towards the process of tazkiyatunnafsi; 2) management component of tasawuf-based character education; and 3) the management process of Tasawuf-based character education. The study was conducted at the institution of Tariqa Qodiriyyah Naqsyabandiyah Suryalaya-Sirnarasa and Tariqa Idrisiyyah Pagendingan. This study employs a qualitative inquiry approach with an exploratory multi-case study method. The data of the study was collected through interview, observation, and document study. The data was analyzed by using Miles and Hubberman analysis. The findings of the study show that, first, the process of tazkiyyatunnafsi consists of three important aspects, which are character values, learning process, and teacher. Second, the management of component of Tasawuf-based character education comprises of character value, curriculum, learning, assessment and teacher and education personnel. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of rehabilitation for narcotic abuse victim at Pondok Remaja Inabah of Suryalaya islamic boarding school, Ciamis, West Java. This study attempt to reveal whether the implementation and development of the rehabilitation are following academic measure as the reference for quality assurance. In study, a qualitative research approach is used along with descriptive analysis method. The data obtained from the interviews, observations and review of relevance documents about program plan, curriculum, implementation of the rehabilitation program, human resources, rehabilitation, and evaluation. The data was interviews involve 45 participants, which are 1 Foundation Chairperson, 1 Head of The Pondok remaja Inabah, 2 Rehabilitation Program Coordinators, 6 rehabilitation facilitators or Ustadz, and 35 children assisted by narcotics abuse victims.
