Abstract

This paper is to be given an overview for the implementation of a Network Monitoring System to monitor the network resources using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). It consists of manager, agent and managed services. The manager responsibility is to monitor the agents. The agents are software that manage all the network devices and send the details report about the managed objects to the manager. The agent should manage each network device based on the feedback received from the manager. …..

MOTION ANALYSIS USING DISTANCE AND VELOCITY-TIME
FUNCTION (ICH)

Author

Md. Baharul Islam

Source International Journal of Scientific Knowledge Volume 2 Issue 1 (2013) Pg. 01-06
Abstract

Motion is very easy between two points just like for straight line motion. Constant objects need acceleration for speed up at starting point and after reaching highest velocity, it needs to deceleration to stop at end point of the straight line. Suppose there are some turning points of a linear curve, then moving object along the curve will be very jerky at the turning points. This is very unlike how motion happens in the real world and this should be avoided in animations. The objective of this paper is to analysis motion for different kinds of curves that can be formed from same control points and analyze motion characteristics along a path for animation.

A STUDY OF THE URBANIZING PATTERN IN KEGALLE
DISTRICT, SRI LANKA WITH CONNECTIVITY ANALYSIS (ICH)

Author

Source International Journal of Scientific Knowledge Volume 2 Issue 1 (2013) Pg. 07-19
Abstract

In any geography, it is observable that locations better connected to many other locations attract urban activities and therefore, are in relatively more advantageous positions than the less connected locations in the competition for growth. In that sense, a thorough analysis of the connectivity of different locations in a region will enable regional planners to evolve workable spatial strategies for the development of that region. The study presented in this paper is a test of this relationship between the trends of urban agglomerations and the patterns of connectivity of the urban centres in Kegalle district of Sri Lanka. The study was based on the node-axial diagrams derived from road maps of the region, in which the axial nodes represent urban centres. The relative connectivity of the axial nodes was computed at local and global levels in terms of their accessibility from all other nodes in the area selected for the purpose. The prevailing states of urban agglomerations of the centres were evaluated in terms of the availability of urban facilities, commercial, trade and informal activities in those centres. The relative connectivity values are correlated with the urban agglomeration values to test the relationship between the two. The results indicate a high possibility of connectivity analysis to predict the urban agglomeration trends in a region.

Abstract

Braille is one of the important means of written informational communication between visually-impaired and sight people, so it gains the research interest. This paper describes a new technique for recognizing Braille cells in Arabic single side Braille document. The mean challenge in (OBR) system -which is resolved here- is how to binaries Braille image So we suggested two algorithms two binaries Braille sheets based on morphological operations. We apply Opening on green Braille and closing in yellow Braille sheets. Optical Arabic Braille Recognition system has two main tasks, first is to recognize printed Braille cells, and second is to convert them to regular text. We introduce in this search, automatic system which converts printed Braille Arabic to binary digital format to perform the first task from recognition system. The system provide high accuracy and fast result.

Abstract

Cloud computing has become the buzz word of the IT industry. Executives have been told it is the way to cut spending on IT. But what is all the hype about? Should we all be jumping onto the “cloud” bandwagon or is the cloud full of holes? This paper looks at the current literature on cloud computing to try to answer these and other questions for the IT executive, the typical manager or the layperson.

Abstract

Two-Wheel Trirotor (2W3R) hybrid robot is a novel system that can move on ground and hover and navigate in air. In this study design of attitude and altitude control systems for air mode is presented. Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) and feedback linearization technique with PID are designed and simulated controllers. Control systems are developed in Matlab/Simulink. Simulations show that attitude and altitude of 2W3R platform are stabilized successfully while tracking reference inputs.
